Thoughtful Thursday - October 6th

We are back again for this month’s Thoughtful Thursday, and this edition has been hijacked by our front of house team! Kate V and Pearl from TootToot feature in the pod, Bailey, who is currently kinda everywhere, has a plug about her new show, and we’re also looking for a couple of new members to join the team! Details below…

Clinic Updates
Well, all things are steady as she goes for now – no new news regarding mandates or changes, which is rather exciting really after the last few years!

We are still keeping our assistants fresh by bouncing them around all our clinics a bit, but things will settle down again this month.

That being said, we are looking for some friendly new faces to join our front of house team! Think you or a mate or your mum or your uncle would enjoy helping us organise the organised chaos we have going on? Feel free to email Andrea andrea@chiro.london to let us know.

Holidays & Changes, from Andrea
Tooting:
Amy-Lou is currently away for the week and will be returning Tuesday 11th October.

Fulham: We welcome Ella, our new chiro, to the Fulham team. She will be in clinic Wednesdays and Fridays. Susan is now working fortnightly Saturdays. Silva will be taking a long weekend at the end of the month and will be off from 27th October and back on 1st November.

Marylebone: Elle will be off on 23rd October and will be back 30th October (just in time for Halloween). Katie Chimes will be taking an extended leave from 31st October but will be back ready to look after everyone over the Christmas period.

Kew: We have said our farewell to Gopal, but not to worry as we have Paul D, Paul G, and Lucy on hand to help continue your chiropractic journey.

Putney: Matt is back from his trip to Scotland and will now be in clinic Tuesday and Thursday mornings. George is currently on paternity leave and will be back on 8th October. Bryan's off to Sardinia for a week to try and catch the last of the sun. He will be away from 8th October and back 18th October. You may also see the familiar face of Conor Ward back in the building as he returns to the Putney crew on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Podcasts
The Chiro.London Pod, proudly fuelled by Ground Coffee Society, presents the KV & Pearl Carpool Karaoke Edition! (Spoiler: unfortunately she does not burst into song.)

This month Craig is joined by Tooting’s Practice Manager Kate for an impromptu pod in the car en route to the Lions of Chiropractic Seminar! Tune in to hear about Kate’s first four years with us, and her thoughts and experiences with chiropractic.

Check it out on website, Spotify, Apple and Google.

Shameless Plug
This month’s Shameless Plug comes care of everyone’s favourite American assistant, blackboard creator and future Oscar winner, Bailey!

Have you ever wanted to go to the Fringe Festival but weren't able to make it? Do you ever think plays are just too long? (ABSOLUTELY - Drew.)

How about you come see my new show, The Dirty Thirty, which has been described as “a whole fringe-fest in one show”!

How is that possible? Well as an ensemble – the Degenerate Fox – we valiantly attempt to perform an ever-rotating menu of 30 plays in 60 minutes, with the kicker that the audience is in complete control of the order that we do the plays in. Sounds a little like organised chaos to most, but I promise it's a grand time! :)

In short, it's only 60 minutes and different every single time!

In October we are touring to two different theatres so we can see more people:

The Pen Theatre (south-east London) on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th at 8:30pm
The Pleasance (Islington) on 22nd October at 7:30pm (our biggest theatre to date!)

Tickets start at just £10!

It would really mean the world to me to see some familiar faces – plus you'll get to tell your friends you saw me way back when. ;)

Hopefully, I will get the joy of making you laugh, cry, think, and have a one-of-a-kind experience, because when you've seen our show once, you've only seen our show once!

For more info, head to our website: degeneratefox.co.uk. And please don't forget to say hi after the show!

Well that all sounds rather fun. Thanks for filling us in, Bailey!

That’s us done for another month – see ya in NOVEMBER, if you can believe it?!

Cheers,
Drew
