Thoughtful Thursday - June 5th
Truly is the sporting season. There are championship trophies being awarded left and right, the running clubs are back to maximum capacity, open water swimmers are tightening their goggles, and the dogs of London are brimming with a surplus of “walkies.”
Let’s catch up over another Thoughtful Thursday before we all scatter to the wind on our summer holidays, shall we? Breno has a handle on the social media happenings, Andrea keeps us all updated with the latest staffing changes, and Tom finds himself in uncharted territory as he plans on visiting a Pilates studio.

May Steps Challenge Recap
Wow—what a month! Our May Steps Challenge saw some serious step-counting action, with a massive 10,487,176 steps logged in total. That’s like walking from London to Istanbul… and then some!
🎉 Huge congrats to our winning team: Shennae, Jack, and Kate, who absolutely crushed it with an average of 599,726 steps! Shennae led the charge with a mind-blowing 829,607 steps—we’re not saying she moonlights as a postie, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
Our overall top 3 steppers were:
Shennae – 829,607 steps (unstoppable!)
Conór – 686,115 steps (close behind!)
Sydney – 647,548 steps (stepping it up in style!)
A big shoutout to everyone who took part. Whether you hit 10k a day or just made it to the corner shop and back, every step counted.
Special thanks to our local coffee heroes for keeping us caffeinated and motivated:
Ground Coffee Society in Putney
District Coffee in Parsons Green
Carbon Kopi on Wandsworth Bridge Road
Juliet’s in Tooting
And of course, a huge thank-you to ProFeet for keeping our feet happy with custom insoles and fresh kicks. No blisters here, just champions.
Until the next challenge—keep steppin’!
Tom’s Shameless Plug
I have spoken about our keenness to partner with likeminded local businesses in previous newsletters, but I want to give a quick shout-out to one of our long-standing partners, Absolute Studios. With locations in Parsons Green, Queen’s Park and Kensal Rise, Absolute has helped our team stay healthy, happy and in tune with their bodies for years through their incredible pilates sessions, and always with outstanding service.
As you know, chiropractic care is all about having your body feeling holistically healthy, and Absolute has helped dozens of our clients over the years, working shoulder-to-shoulder with the Chiro.London chiropractors to get the best results.
So in sync are the two, that I will be attending a pop-up event at their Parsons Green location on June 25th at 2pm to talk to anyone who’s keen to get the most out of their Pilates/chiropractic sessions. If you live in the area and have been curious about either Pilates or chiropractic (or both!), then feel free to say hello and RSVP here!
With that it is time for me to sign off for another month and indeed forever, as this will be my last Thoughtful Thursday for the company as I make the move back “down undah” (Australia). Weep not, my fair newsletter readers, for Chiro.London is brimming with talented writers who will gladly take the mantle of monthly scribe.
As a final parting musing, when asked by clients why I have chosen to leave London, my response is always the same: “There is no perfect time to leave, but this is the perfect time for me.” Now this is not an encouragement to change hemispheres on a whim, but with summer just around the corner, use it as motivation to try that local dance class, eat at that new restaurant, or open that bottle you’ve stashed away. Your perfect time is the one you decide for yourself.
Until the next,
Cameron
