Thoughtful Thursday - May 1st
May you say? But it was only March a week ago? And what of January? My, this year is moving at such a pace, it’ll be Christmas before I get the chance to take down my Easter decorations. But who am I to stand in the face of the warming weather?
Let’s keep the momentum going with another Thoughtful Thursday newsletter, yes? We have social updates from Breno, company events with Tom, and my mainstay musings. Onward!

GET MOVING!
“I may go to the gym more often”, “I may book that chiro appointment”, “I may spend more time outdoors”, “I may do that thing I’ve been planning for months”… well, I got something to tell you – MAY is the month to DO what you want to do! Why? It’s National Walking Month, and that’s a good enough excuse to get moving and JUST DO IT! (Nike didn’t sponsor this btw).
From this month we’ll be hosting monthly Q&A sessions with our team to answer your chiro-related questions. Make sure you’re following our Instagram to keep up with all of the themes of the month (including tips on how to increase those daily step counts, health advice for all our current and expecting mothers, local business collaborations and events, and much more!)
Lastly, our friends at RIVA Wellness are hosting a sound healing event for mothers and mothers-to-be at Sacred Tones in Parsons Green. This is a gentle invitation to pause. To come as you are. To be supported in a space that honours the ongoing transformation of motherhood. So if you’re interested in deep rest, emotional replenishment, or simply being held, click here to see more details on how you can attend!
Tom’s Shameless Plug
Time for a monthly plug from your favourite socialite, Tom “Come One, Come All” Smith…
It’s fayre season, which means it’s time to roll out the signage and blow the dust off the trestle tables. As I’ve mentioned in previous newsletters, Chiro.London wants to be more than another business in your postcode, we want to get stuck in and give back where we can – a mainstay on the high street, a dependable shop front, a reliable contributor to a community. So, to that end, we will be joining the fun at the Wandsworth Bridge Road and Richmond Fayres to spread the good word of chiropractic care!
For those of you who already see us at either our Wandsworth Bridge or Kew clinics, feel free to come by and say hello; maybe bring that neighbour or local friend who has been talking about their sore and achy so-and-so, and introduce them to the team. For more information, just ask the front desk for dates but, regardless of our participation, head down to the fayres anyhow and enjoy the fun!
That’ll be all, folks. My parting optimism for this month is about returning the favour.
As some of you know firsthand, and others will know from the road closures, the London Marathon took place the Sunday just gone. To all those who made it to the finish line, you have my sincerest congratulations – any amount of running, in my opinion, is worthy of the highest praise and respect – but I also want to extend a heartfelt thanks to those who made their way to the side of the road to embrace their friends and loved ones in a sweaty hug as their known participant trotted past gasping wildly for air.
As much as those who go out and do the thing are rightfully acknowledged for their efforts, spare a thought for those who come to watch it happen. Maybe they brought a sign with your name on it, maybe they waited at the finish line to towel you down, or maybe they sent you a text to say to do your best.
Whatever the encouragement was, our victories are made all the sweeter by those who share them with us, and those with whom we share them often go well out of their way to be there.
So next time you see that person, give them a hug, maybe buy them a drink, or just let them know that you appreciated what they did for you that day. Any race is rarely run alone, after all.
From your biggest fan,
Cameron
